Lenovo is set to host its annual global innovation event, Tech World, on 15 October 2024, in Bellevue, Washington. This year marks the 10th consecutive occasion for the event, symbolising a decade of transformative innovation from the technology giant. Attendees can expect an insightful exploration of how Lenovo is delivering on the promise of artificial intelligence (AI) with its vision of “Smarter AI for All.”
The event will highlight groundbreaking AI for Good initiatives, hybrid AI solutions aimed at empowering individuals and businesses, and strategies for fast-tracking the deployment of generative AI. Lenovo’s commitment to AI technologies is underscored by its ongoing investment and collaboration with industry partners, ensuring the delivery of advanced, AI-ready devices, infrastructure, solutions, and services to its customers.
Lenovo will showcase its partnerships with several leading tech firms, highlighting key product launches and new services announced earlier this year. Among these innovations, Lenovo, in collaboration with Intel, was one of the first to launch AI-enabled PCs featuring the new Intel Core Ultra processors. Additionally, the company has rolled out AI laptops equipped with AMD’s 3rd Generation Ryzen AI processors for consumers, commercial users, and small-to-medium-sized businesses.
The partnership with Qualcomm and Microsoft has also yielded the introduction of the first Copilot+ PCs, powered by Snapdragon X Elite, specifically the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6. Lenovo’s collaboration with NVIDIA has further resulted in the launch of new hybrid AI solutions designed to make powerful generative AI applications accessible across enterprises and the cloud, thereby enhancing transformation capabilities in various industries.
Tech World will feature a keynote address from Lenovo’s Chairman and CEO, Yuanqing Yang, who is expected to share insights on the company’s latest innovations and strategic direction in pursuit of “Smarter AI for All.” Yang will demonstrate how Lenovo is making hybrid AI a reality for users in diverse settings—whether at home, in the workplace, or on the go.
In addition to Yang, the event will include notable speakers such as Lenovo’s newly appointed Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Tolga Kurtoglu, and Dr. Yong Rui, President of the Emerging Technology Group. Prominent industry figures, including Lisa Su (Chair and CEO of AMD), Pat Gelsinger (CEO of Intel), Satya Nadella (Chairman and CEO of Microsoft), Mark Zuckerberg (Founder and CEO of Meta), and Jensen Huang (Founder and CEO of NVIDIA), will also join the discussion on the future of AI.
Attendees can participate in person or virtually, allowing them to experience how Lenovo’s hybrid AI solutions are supporting organisations of all sizes. The latest technologies are designed to accelerate AI outcomes, scale private AI solutions, and provide affordable access to metered GPU resources.
Tech World 2024 will be live-streamed across multiple time zones and will be available for on-demand viewing following the main broadcast. To register and see a full agenda of speakers, please visit Lenovo Tech World ’24.
