Pure Perfection Skin Clinic Bags Third Major Award in 2024
Pure Perfection, a renowned skin clinic located in Rossett near Chester, has achieved a remarkable milestone by winning its third significant award of the year. The clinic, directed by esteemed professional Sara Cheeney, was recently honoured with the title of Provider of the Year – Wales at the prestigious Cutera Awards, which took place at Sopwell House Hotel in London. The awards were hosted by television presenter and journalist Anna Richardson.
This accolade follows two earlier wins this year: the clinic was named Best Clinic Midlands and Wales at the national Aesthetics Awards, as well as Aesthetic Clinic of the Year for the South West and Wales at the Aesthetic Medicine Awards.
Expressing her gratitude, Sara Cheeney said, “We are completely overwhelmed to have received this award. It is a tribute to our amazing team and the strides we have made together over the last 12 months.” Cheeney noted that Pure Perfection has seen significant growth by introducing state-of-the-art technology and welcoming both new patients and long-standing customers. The clinic addresses various skin concerns, including acne, aging, pigmentation, and rosacea.
Cheeney added, “We are so grateful to our patients for their loyalty and support, and also to Cutera for this incredible honour, which was hugely unexpected.” The clinic has invested heavily in cutting-edge machinery, including Cutera’s excel V+ skin revitalisation system and the Secret PRO CO2 laser treatment, which provides advanced skin resurfacing and deep dermal remodelling. Pure Perfection is the only clinic in Wales to offer the latter service, and Cheeney has also been appointed as a key opinion leader for the global brand.
“The ethos of Cutera aligns with our own, as they are passionate about medical skincare, quality, safety, and efficacy, along with enhancing the customer experience,” she explained. “Their treatments and technology are unparalleled; they are among the most advanced companies in this sector, and we are proud to work in collaboration, and of course to win this amazing award.”
In addition to celebrating her clinic’s successes, Sara Cheeney is gearing up for a significant fundraising event to support cancer patients. On Saturday, November 23, a fundraising ball will be held at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel and Spa from 6.30 pm to 1 am. This event aims to raise funds for the Star Box appeal, which Cheeney co-developed for the NHS charity Awyr Las, providing care packages for patients at the Shooting Star Unit at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
Having battled breast cancer herself over seven years ago, Cheeney is passionate about supporting others facing similar challenges. “I am immensely proud to be a part of this; it’s a charity very close to my heart. I would like to thank the businesses that have sponsored the event,” she stated.
With tickets selling quickly, Cheeney encouraged the community to participate: “Please get in touch if you would like to be a part of it – we hope you can join us.”
Cutera, the company behind the awards, was founded in 1998 by laser and optical engineers, with a mission to innovate and expand the capabilities of dermatology and aesthetic devices, appealing to forward-thinking clinicians seeking next-generation performance.
