Enterprise generative AI firm Writer has announced a significant global expansion, opening new hubs across Europe, the Asia-Pacific Japan (APJ) region, and the United States. The company has also strengthened its leadership team and advisory board as demand for enterprise-ready AI solutions continues to grow.
The expansion sees new offices established in Singapore, Dublin, Chicago, and Austin, alongside larger premises in San Francisco, New York, and London. These developments come as businesses increasingly seek scalable AI solutions to enhance productivity and decision-making.
Strengthening global leadership
As part of its European expansion, Writer has formed an EMEA Advisory Board to support its growth in the region. The board is chaired by former Salesforce President and Chief Revenue Officer Gavin Patterson, with members including Nikita Popov, Head of AI Strategy at Novartis; Aman Thind, Chief Architect at State Street; Paul Martin, COO of WTW; Sarah Swaney, AI Lead at Kenvue EMEA; and Lindsay Barrett, Global VP of Data Driven Marketing at Mars Pet Nutrition.
Writer has also appointed new regional leaders, with Darragh Fitzpatrick joining as EMEA Vice President of Sales and Stephen Ryan as Head of EMEA Partnerships. Meanwhile, in APJ, the company has opened its first dedicated hub in Singapore, led by Doug Kang, who takes on the role of Vice President, Head of APJ.
“The pace of AI adoption in APJ and EMEA is undeniable,” said Brian O’Reilly, GM of International at Writer. “Enterprises in these regions are moving fast, building AI teams and seeking solutions that provide immediate return on investment. The strong response to our AI Leadership Forum in London confirms the demand for both cutting-edge AI and a strategic partner capable of scaling solutions effectively. By expanding our presence in London, Singapore, and Dublin, we are positioning ourselves to better support businesses on their AI journey.”
Growing U.S. operations
Alongside its international expansion, Writer is also strengthening its presence in the United States. The company has opened new hubs in Austin and Chicago to attract top AI talent and expand its customer base in the South and Midwest. Additionally, its San Francisco and New York offices have been relocated to larger premises to accommodate growing teams.
The company’s expansion follows growing adoption of generative AI among businesses. Writer’s AI platform is already used by major enterprises such as Mars, Prudential, WTW, Salesforce, and Vanguard. A recent study by Forrester Consulting found that companies using Writer’s solutions achieved a 333% return on investment over three years, with payback in under six months.
Writer has also received industry recognition, featuring in the 2025 Gartner Innovation Guide for Generative AI Technologies as an Emerging Leader in three categories: Generative AI Model Providers, Generative AI Engineering, and AI Knowledge Management Applications.
With global expansion and new leadership in place, Writer is now focused on further advancing AI adoption in enterprise settings. The company is actively hiring across multiple regions as it continues its mission to transform the way businesses work with AI.
